Easy Tropical Fruit Salad Recipe

Filled with the tropical flavors of paradise, this zesty tropical fruit salad will brighten up your summer with sweet fruits!

For a tropical twist on traditional fruit salad, we add fresh pineapple, mandarin oranges and ripe kiwi together and sprinkle it with lime juice, honey and lemon juice.
Even if you can’t escape to paradise this season, this flavorful fruit salad will quench your thirst for palm trees and sunshine!

Ingredients
- 1 fresh pineapple
- 1 pint strawberries
- 5 kiwis
- 6 mandarin oranges
- 1 TBS honey
- 1 lemon
- 2 limes

How To Make Tropical Fruit Salad
- Remove the core of the pineapple and chop the fruit into bite sized pieces. Place into a large bowl.
- Wash and quarter the strawberries and peel the oranges and add them to the salad.
- Use a potato peeler or fruit peeler to remove the skin from the kiwis. Then slice them and add to the other fruits.
- Zest the limes and add the lime zest to the salad. Squeeze the lime juice from the limes and add to the salad. Add the juice of one lemon and 1 tablespoon honey to the salad.
- Mix the fruit and honey dressing together very gently to coat all of the fruit with the juice and honey.



Storage
​Serve and enjoy this fruit salad immediately for the best flavor.
Refrigerate leftovers for up to 2 days in an airtight container.
Variations
- ​Add in papaya, mango, or starfruit to jazz up this fruit salad
- 1-2 tablespoons of passion fruit juice can be added for additional flavor
- Top with cool whip for a decadent dessert!
Tips
To prep for this salad in advance, put the honey, lemon juice and lime juice in a jar. Shake and refrigerate.
Peel and chop all fruit and refrigerate separately. When ready to serve add all ingredients together and mix!

Easy Tropical Fruit Salad Recipe
Equipment
- 1 Large Bowl
- 1 Spatula
Ingredients
- 1 pineapple
- 1 pint strawberries
- 5 kiwis
- 6 mandarin oranges
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 lemon
- 2 limes
Instructions
- Core the pineapple and chop into bite sized pieces. Wash and quarter the strawberries. Peel and slice the kiwis. Remove the skins from the oranges.1 pineapple, 5 kiwis, 6 mandarin oranges, 1 pint strawberries
- Add all fruit to a large bowl.
- Zest two limes and add the zest to the fruit bowl. Then squeeze the lime juice into the fruit.1 lemon, 2 limes
- Add 1 tablespoon honey and the juice of one lemon. Use a spatula to mix the fruit very carefully until everything is covered in the dressing. Enjoy!
Notes
- Add in your favorite tropical fruits: mango and papaya are great additions.
- Gently stir the fruit so you do not bruise it.Â
