Ingredients

  • 1 pint blueberries
  • 1 pound fresh strawberries
  • 3 pears
  • 1 lemon or lime

Instructions

  • Remove the strawberry stems and quarter the strawberries.
  • Peel the pears with a vegetable peeler and slice the sides off of the pears so you have a flat surface of fruit. Use the cookie cutters to cut star shapes out of the flat side of the pears. Chop up any leftover pear to add to the fruit salad.
  • Add the strawberries, blueberries and pears into a large bowl. Add the juice of one lemon and stir gently until well combined.
  • Enjoy immediately for best results!

Notes

    • The lemon juice adds flavor and preserves the whiteness of the pears.
    • Mix the fruit gently so it does not bruise.
    • Chill the fruit for an extra refreshing fruit salad!
    • You can sub the pears for fresh apples if desired.
    • Add in chopped cherries, fresh berries, or any other fruit you like!
