These simple Red, White and Blue fruit skewers are full of festive flavor for the 4th of July holiday. Make these easy fruit kabobs for Labor Day or Memorial Day. Simply layer chopped strawberries, blueberries, and marshmallows and enjoy!

fresh strawberries

miniature marshmallows
Instructions
Chop the strawberries into square chunks slightly larger than the miniature marshmallows.
1 pound fresh strawberries
Layer one strawberry chunk, then 2 marshmallows, then 2 blueberries onto the fruit skewer. Keep layering until you reach the end of the skewers.
2 pints blueberries,
10 oz miniature marshmallows
Enjoy!
Notes
The tips of skewers can be sharp, soslide the fruit off of the fruit skewers before eating.
Substitute different red fruits for the strawberries if desired: red fruits like cherries, raspberries, or seedless watermelon.
If you use chopped apples, soak them in
lemon juice or salt
to keep the white bright.
