6cupssourdough bread chopped into 1/2 inch cubes6-8 slices
1/2cupsalted butter
1tbspolive oil
2tspItalian seasoning
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Melt the butter and add it to a large bowl. Pour in the oil and seasoning and mix well.
Toss the bread chunks in to butter mixture, making sure to coat well. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place bread cubes on it in a single layer.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the croutons are light brown on the edges.
Notes
Cool leftover croutons before storing. Place in an airtight container and store for 5-7 days.
Add extra flavor by sprinkling garlic powder and parmesan cheese on top!
Chop up the bread cubes as small or large as you'd like!
