3 Ingredient Crockpot Applesauce

This easy to make homemade applesauce recipe is made in the crockpot. Using just 3 ingredients: apple, sugar and cinnamon, this delicious applesauce recipe will be your fall favorite!

Ingredients
  

  • 3 pounds apples, peeled, cored and chopped I used Granny Smith + Gala
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg optional

Instructions
 

  • Place the chopped apples into the crockpot. Sprinkle the cinnamon, sugar and nutmeg over the apples and add water. Cook on high for 4 hours.
  • Stir the apples with a spoon until a smooth consistency is formed. Enjoy!

Notes

  •  For a smoother texture, use an immersion blender.
  • To cook on low setting, extend the cooking time to 7-8 hours. 
  • Use any kind of apples you like. I like to use a mix of tart and sweet. 
  • Adjust spices to your personal preference as desired!
