The Mood Cure: The Mood Cure is an amazing resource for anyone looking to improve their mood and rid themselves of anxiety.
This book was absolutely monumental in steering me on a clear path of health both emotionally and physically.
Dirty Genes (Ben Lynch): Dirty Genes helps us explore how our unique genetic makeup may be affecting our health.
Within the pages, Dr. Lynch gives us a simple approach for cleaning up our “dirty” genes and restoring our health. This book held many pivotal pieces of information that I used in my health journey.

4. Bible Verses For Hope In Depression
In addition to writing in a prayer journal, I found meditating on certain Biblical verses to be restorative and life giving.
When we can find no joy left on this earth or within ourselves, the Bible is FILLED with hope! God is no stranger to our sorrow. While we may have a physical ailment that is causing our depression, Scripture can provide food for our souls and carry us through until our bodies recover.

5. Tinctures For Supporting A Calm Mind and Happy Mood
Stress is one of the biggest joy stealing culprits there is. And busy mamas are inundated with endless demands and little time to rest. It is no wonder that so many women struggle with anxiety and depression.
Our hormones are out of whack, and we are often stuck in fight or flight mode, unable to truly relax.
This constant stress situation sucks up our feel good neurotransmitters and can trigger anxiety and depression.

For a long time, I had a nagging feeling that caffeine was wrecking havoc on my mood and energy. Like many mamas, I relied heavily on my daily cup to get me through each day.
Through research, I realized many people are sensitive to caffeine. For some, it can cause intense anxiety, jitters and mood swings. And with their adrenal glands already taxed, moms can be particularly susceptible to the ill effects of a cup of joe.
